About This Club

Patch heART Works was created in March of 2022, a time when many still struggled to stay positive in the midst of the global pandemic, unable to meet with others or get the support they need. We noticed that this problem especially affected patients or senior citizens in hospitals, nursing homes, or cancer centers. Therefore, our club is centralized around using arts and crafts to spark joy, peace, and healing to people through the comfort of art therapy.

Who We Support

Rehabilitation & Healthcare Centers, Children’s Hospitals, Senior Centers, Cancer Centers, Public Libraries, and more!

Patients may find hospitals unwelcoming or scary, making them the perfect place to put our artwork! We hope to make facilities like senior and cancer centers feel comforting and to show support for elders and children by decorating the place and making it look nicer!

Our Mission Statement

I. Helping others:

We hope that this club will raise awareness about the importance of helping out people in need in our communities and sharing positive feelings of beauty and comfort through the expression of art!

II. Plans for the future:

We hope to find more ways to get involved in the community like a 3 week summer art camp, free art lessons, and participation in community events, birthday parties, and youth groups!
